Another Successful Year
The 2nd Annual Sapper Joe Trail Race was a great success. We escaped the rain and ended up having a great day for a trail run in the hills. I want to thank all who participated. I hope you had as much fun, and pain, that you were expecting. I also wanted to extend a thanks to the National Guard and the amazing job they did out on the course making sure that all went well from the time the cannon went off to the last finisher crossing the line. The race would not be a success without them. The results are posted below. If any of you have any questions, comments, photos, from the race, I would love to hear about them. We hope to make this a tradition each year. Our finishers grew from 125 the first year to 155 this year. Adding the 15K gave a lot more people an opportunity to come out and run. Let's shoot for 200 finishers next year. Thanks again to all who participated!
